My name is Aime.
I started out as J-Doll Takeshita Street, but my frail wrists broke shortly after I took off my Jacket for the first time. I now have a Brand NEW body. Take a look. If you have seen the J-Doll basic body, you will know why I am excited.
I now have an Obitsu 27cm Large size Soft bust Body in White. The posability of this body goes far beyond the original body, so I think. My arms are removable and so are my hands. I have a few sets of different hands now.. I love the waist joint that allows me to move forward or back as well as turning. All in all - I am 100% happy ... EXCEPT
I need a new wig. Something soft and shiny I think...
I'm off to Wish Upon A Star.
xxoo Amie
Here is Amie -
I really do like the Obitsu body that she has - I will have some in stock soon. They fit Pullip and J-Doll using the 27cm size. It can get a little difficult to remove the head and place on the new body - but I think it was worth it in the end.
I wanted to try the Large bust body, but I would add a caution to you all - clothes that fit are going to be difficult to come by due to the unrealistic size of her new bosom. Obitsu make their bodies in small, medium and large bust and in different skin colours too. They actually do a massive range right up to 60cm BJD's.
I wanted to stick with the original head because I love her face. I love the inset blue eyes and the overall shape and proportions. I could not stand the hair on this J-Doll. It is tough and wiry. All-in-all I loved the face and the outfit of this J-Doll, but otherwise - not sure I would bother with them. Does any one have a good experience with these dolls to balance out my poor opinion??
Here in the photos Amie is wearing a Begoths dress - Raven I think it was on, and shoes from ebay seller yurasinunshop in china. The shoes are for 12" dolls and fit quite well considering the flat foot shape that obitsue has.
Also - we have started a Flickr account for photos done of our dolls - not the ones for sale. It's small so far, but any feedback would be appreciated.

2010.
Well we are ready and excited about this Year. Are you?
We had a little holiday, moved house, etc etc...
New Ellowyne Items are on order and will be inshop around last week of January. I will also try to get to photographing the Essential Ellowyne, Too Wigged Out. She is beautiful. You will be seeing Fashion Royalty hit the store soon. Integrity Toys is offering membership WORLDWIDE until 22/1/10, so hurry in if you want info on exclusive Jason Wu. They are so detailed... and we will photoshoot our J-Doll that we added at Obitsu large soft bust body to. She needs a new wig and some new clothes (to fit her grown up figure).
I am in love with BJD's at the moment. Tell us which one you love the look of most. I want to buy my first real Asian Ball Joint Doll for myself (to keep in the office) - but don't know which to get. Of course I could lower my standards... but I love these two the most:
Elder Iplehouse Doll - Jessica
She is 65cm tall and avaliable from Iplehouse
Model Doll - Catcher : Ipsae - LE10
She is a 68cm BJD from Dollmore.net - find her here

Today we have added the first Pullip items instore. I know its all going slowly. Sorry!!! Really, I am. Just working through all the bits and pieces that come with putting an item up for sale. You would think it could be easily streamlined....
Soon we should have up Pullip preorders as well.
Besides that - I think perhaps the blog needs an update as much as the store homepage does. Does anyone have any good ideas???

Here are a few of the recent things I have gotten open and photographed... So time consuming (yet just a little bit fun)
Lets start with Barbie - Top Model Hair Wear and her Model Muse body - different in shape to the normal Barbie. You will notice the different hips, slimmer legs, protruding collarbone, and pouty lips. The sculpt is usually used on the higher end Barbie - like Gold Label but these Top Model are a Play range.
Despite the unrealistic body shape - I like these girls..
Bratz Fashion - I know that alot of people feel that Bratz dollswear fashion is too provocative for the age that they market to. As a mother, I totally agree ~ and yet I can't help thinking some of the outfits are very cute and quite funky.
Bratz CowGirlz Yasmin Outfit:Bratz Wicked Twinz Outfit:
Girlz Really Rock ~ Punk Rock Rebel Jade Outfit:Lastly (although I will post more about these later)
I bought a Liv Doll - Daniella. And I must say that she is prettier than I expected she would be and is alot better made than I anticipated. Not bad for a play doll with moving joints - seems sturdier than the Barbie Fashionistas. (But that's my first take opinion - I haven't had a good muck around with either doll at this stage)
Liv - Daniella
And lastly J-Doll ~ Takeshita Street (an older doll that I have had on the shelf unopened for quite a time) A little asian doll - with a quaint little face. Her hair is fairly coarse, so it immediately became unmanageable, but i love the lip colour and the inset blue eyes.

Happy Afternoon!!
So I have opened and Photographed the Ellowyne's.
Here is a Promo Shot from Wilde Imagination for Essential Ellowyne, too Basic dollsIt shows them on their stands, without shoes. They have a rather uniquely round head shape for a Collector Doll. These have rooted hair - but you can also get a Wigged version of Ellowyne and Ellowyne with glass eyes (these are hand painted).
They are so tall. Well in comparison to Barbie and Bratz. They are 16" in height and have 12 points of articulation ie. they have moving joints (such as wrists, upper chest, knees etc). They are so very well made, out of 'high-quality vinyl and hard plastic'. Their hair is just gorgeous and shiny and the faces are divine and all hand painted. Oooo, you know what else is really cute? The shoes.
Ellowyne is a doll with a moody persona - Designer Robert Tonner brings out new dolls and fashions regularly. Ellowyne writes Ennui poetry and is usually meloncoly. Each new doll and outfit comes with a new verse/poem.
These dolls retail between $100 and $300 and the fashions usually retail at $70 - $140. They are an adult collectors doll and not for general play.
My Photos:Even the packaging is gorgeous!
Lastly on my internet searches I have found an amazing site from a person: Imna ~ who loves dolls. The site details Inma's personal collection. The pictures are fantastic and show the dolls dressed in different fashions and posed in many different sets/layouts and designs. Join in the obsession...
